About Us

WeSchool Education Foundation's mission is to empower parents to take the lead in their children’s education through family- and community-driven approaches. The foundation serves families in and around Chicagoland by providing education and training, inspirational resources, and scholarships that support learner-centered, parent-led, and community-based educational initiatives.

WeSchool Education Foundation fulfills its mission by:

  • Hosting educational workshops, training sessions, and parent cohorts that equip families to design and lead learning at home or in partnership with others.

  • Creating and distributing inspirational content (e.g., videos, booklets, podcasts, and events) that affirm the dignity and possibility of family-led education.

  • Awarding scholarships to help families access curriculum, tutors, enrichment programs, and community-based innovative learning opportunities.

The foundation prioritizes support for families traditionally underrepresented in alternative education spaces, especially those in urban and marginalized communities throughout Chicagoland.

WeSchool Education Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
